Drug & Alcohol consortium

Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA drug and alcohol regulations and guidelines, while keeping overall costs down with our Drug & Alcohol Testing Consortium.

What is a DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Consortium Program?

Random drug and alcohol testing programs are required by the DOT for single driver employers, owner-operators, and employers with multiple drivers. A third-party consortium implements and manages a drug and alcohol testing program to help assist with the DOT/FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Testing rules and regulations. Owners-operators and motor carriers that have only one CDL driver are required to join a consortium as they are not permitted to run random testing programs alone.

What Are The Benefits Of A Drug & Alcohol Consortium?

  • Allows for a larger pool of regulated drivers to be elected for a random drug or alcohol test.
  • Once all random testing percentages are met, all drivers in the consortium are compliant.
  • Combines multiple owners-operators together for discounted rates, versus the cost of a small business contract.
